The drill attachment spins fast enough to actually power through set-in dirt on my living room rug, and the bristles hit the fibers deep without snagging. Took a nasty coffee stain out in about two minutes that I'd been scrubbing by hand for weeks.

I use it with my drill on low and it takes the effort out of scrubbing, so often you can skip the full carpet cleaner step. I've done three stain jobs in one sitting without my wrist getting tired, and the fabric doesn't look any worse for the wear.
