The Orange Quantum Pad is a medium-cutting pad that removes light to moderate defects like swirls, scratches, oxidation, and water spots to restore gloss, depth, and reflection to painted surfaces.
Finally got around to polishing my boat's gelcoat and this pad ate through the oxidation without loading up like other pads I've tried. The medium cutting action left a deep, wet gloss that surprised me, and it held up well after multiple panels. Definitely my go-to for swirl removal now.
The paint on my daily driver had a nasty haze from years of careless washes, and this pad knocked it out in just two passes with my DA. The medium cut is aggressive enough to fix defects but leaves a finish that’s ready for a finishing pad without extra fuss.
Took the oxidation off my hood in two passes with my DA, and the pad kept its shape the whole time—no tearing or flattening out. Water spots I'd been fighting for months are just gone, and the gloss underneath came back deeper than I expected. This is the medium pad I'll grab first from now on.
