The color change is such a satisfying way to tell it's actually working, and I barely had to scrub the brake dust off my front rims. It's thick enough to stay put on vertical spokes, which is exactly what I needed.
The gel actually clings to the wheel instead of dripping off, so the purple-to-clear color change lets me see exactly where it's working. Brake dust came off with just a rinse and light wipe, no scrubbing session needed.
