Finally got to try the 6-inch plate on a contoured hood and the Hyper Flex really does hug the curves without skipping a beat. The even pad contact cut my polishing time by about 20%.
Used the 5-inch plate on some tricky door panels and it hugged the curve way better than my old rigid plate ever did. The Hyper Flex really makes a difference in keeping the pad flat on those contoured surfaces.
The Hyper Flex on the 6-inch plate actually lets me buff out tight curves without leaving uneven spots, which was my old setup's biggest flaw. Feels solid but flexible enough to hug the panel, and the finish came out flawless on my first pass.
